Alien Invaders

Starting out you are thrown into the middle of an alien invasion. With nothing but your fighter jet you must survive as long as you can. Dodging storm clouds and enemy fire while trying to shoot down UFOs. So long as you don’t stay still and keep shooting down UFOs you’ll have a better chance of survival.
The ESC key exits full screen mode in the browser but is also supposed to be used for the pause menu. Because of this the you have to hit ESC twice to pause the game. Once to exit full screen and another to pause.
Along with points listed below, the player also earns 6 points every 3 seconds they can survive.
Spawn Rates

| Star Collectable: Once every 60 seconds. Coin Collectable: Once every 5 seconds but gradually decreases over time. Missile Power Up: Once every 6 seconds. Shield Power Up: Once every 24 seconds. | Bronze UFO: Within the range of 2.0 to 3.0 seconds. Silver UFO: Within the range of 12.0 to 18.0 seconds. Gold UFO: Within the range of 22.0 to 32.0 seconds. Plasma Shot: Every 2 seconds. | Buildings: Every 3 seconds but after 60 seconds it becomes 2. Storm Clouds: Starts spawning after 30 seconds have passed,hen every 10 seconds after that. |
